Save up to 70% off your electricity bill with environmentally friendly heating, air conditioning and hot water systems
Looking for a reliable and renewable source of energy for your home or business that can be used all year round?
Choose Geothermal energy and you will:
- Save up to 70% off your electricity bill
- Reduce greenhouse gas emissions to save the environment
- Enjoy cleaner air.
Sounds good, right?
This is how geothermal systems work
Geothermal heating, cooling and hot water systems run on electricity like conventional heating and cooling systems do, but they use less of it.
While conventional systems take heat from the air in order to heat or cool your home or business, geothermal systems take heat from the ground. This uses less electricity because the ground is a constant 15 degrees, compared to the air temperature, which can be 30 plus degrees in Summer or 5 degrees in Winter.

* COP is an abbreviation for Coefficient of Performance, which is a measure of efficiency. COP of 4.2 means our systems are efficient. For every KW of power input you will get 4.2KW of heating or cooling output.
AusGeothermal systems are built in Australia for Australian conditions
AusGeothermal is an accredited refrigeration supplier and installer through the Australian Refrigeration Council.
While systems made in other countries like the USA need to be adapted to suit the Australian power supply and style of houses, our cost effective DX geothermal heat pumps are made in Australia, specifically to suit Australian conditions and standards.
Working with a local manufacturer and supplier for your geothermal heating and cooling needs means that:
- Our units can last twice as long as conventional air-forced heat pump systems
- We are available to provide fast, local support when you need back up service
- Spare parts are always in stock in Australia, so things get fixed quickly.

How does the cost of a geothermal system compare to a conventional system?
The installation cost for a geothermal system is higher than a conventional heating and cooling system, but this is quickly offset when you start saving up to 70% off your electricity bills.
After working on conventional systems I understand how much power they use. This is much better alternative for the environment and for your wallet.
